  My adult daughter took her own life. The shock of this was indescribable.
  Unbeknownst to my self, my son phoned David Clayton regarding his sister's death, inquiring about the process to bring her back home. I had several phone calls from David just touching base and later, step by step, as to where my daughter was and her journey back home. He walked beside my self & my son & family respectfully, when time stood still for us.
  David's respectful attitude continued through the time of the viewing and the Thanks Giving Service. There was a video link to our family who were interstate. The positive feed back from them was simple the best. They were with us and they were able to share in the pain of saying good bye.
  Although our hearts were broken, we were truly encouraged to take our time in saying good bye to my precious daughter, sister, aunt & niece.
  So very grateful, thank you David Clayton and administration staff.

  Made an absolute mess of my best friends funeral! The two funeral directors were unprofessional and didn't seem to know what they were doing in the arrangement or the service, everything seemed a hassle, they stuffed up the music two times and even got his name wrong during the service.

  At such a difficult time Daniel and celebrant Doug Austin were very professional and efficient but most of all compassionate and the service was a celebration of life i highly recommend Newhaven

  Having used Newhaven Funerals in Mackay twice I can't fault the service of the team. They are professional, both in person and via email and phone. Nothing was too much trouble. Organising funerals via long distance was easy with their help. Thanks Dave and the team at Newhaven - you have made this year easier with your understanfing and assistance.
